Education Exchange Opportunity
Local parents and the staff of Tambor Tropical are committed to developing the Tambor Bay School, a private, non-profit school where many of the children attend on scholarship. The school offers a bi-lingual curriculum designed to escalate the skills of our local children.
Guests of Tambor Tropical are welcomed to donate three hours of their day (9 AM to noon and partnering with our teachers) at Tambor Bay School, with transportation to and from the school provided (about 10 minutes from the resort).
You may read in English, or deliver a geography lesson where the students will learn about your home, work and region of the world you come from (maps and books available at the school). We also suggest topics about environmental challenges your country faces and what people are doing to preserve (recycling, planting, clean-ups, etc.) our earth.
