Seascape Sea Kayak tours leave from Tambor Tropical
Paddling a sea kayak is invigorating and fun, especially when the journey includes gliding on top of the water alongside sea turtles and pelicans, or drinking in a gorgeous sunset. Tambor Tropical arranges sea kayaking trips of different durations, from a couple of hours to an all-day adventure.
Seascape Sea Kayak Tours are available between October and May. They depart from Tambor Tropical’s beach or from Curu. Sunset tours are often followed with a chilled glass of wine.
The Full-Day Tour to Curu Wildlife Refuge charts a course through clear, blue waters, with a stop for snorkeling off of a white-sand beach. Sea turtles are often spotted and a full, top-notch lunch is served in the shade of palm trees on the beach.
There’s usually plenty of time for a birding hike, where 232 species of birds have been counted. The most common species are motmots, white-fronted amazons, laughing hawks, woodpeckers and herons. In addition, scarlet macaws can be seen in the morning or in the late afternoon. Animal lovers will be thrilled that the refuge’s extensive trails provide hikers with the chance to spot ocelots, pumas, margay cats, collared peccari, coyote, anteaters, otters, and howler and capuchin monkeys.
There’s also a guided Half-Day Tour to Curu Wildlife Refuge, which is arranged to accommodate individual schedules in the morning or afternoon, and includes visiting seabirds and other wildlife.
Let Tambor Tropical’s friendly office team arrange the perfect trip for you.
